Catherine Mattice, MA, President Principal Consultant & Trainer
Catherine M. Mattice specializes in providing solutions for negative behaviors in the workplace, and helping her clients realize positive corporate cultures. She believes eradicating negative behaviors go beyond a focus on the specific issue, and require the building of a positive and civil workplace in order to make sustainable and preventative changes. After observing first-hand the damage abusive behavior in the workplace can have on employee morale, production, and the bottom-line, Catherine has been successfully providing consulting and training programs in the topic of negative behaviors since 2007, and has been researching and publishing on the subject of workplace bullying since 2004.

Catherine has also appeared in USA Today, Inc Magazine and MSNBC as an expert, and presented her research and training programs both nationally and internationally. Presentations have included Pepperdine University, Association for Conflict Resolution, Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) Maine State Council, San Diego State University, San Diego County Sheriff's Department, Kaiser Permanente, the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District, and several appearances on news stations such as FOX, NBC, and ABC.
Catherine is a Coordinator for the International Association for Workplace Bullying & Harassment, serves on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Training & Development (ASTD), San Diego Chapter, and is on California College’s Program Advisory Committee for the Business School. Catherine is also an adjunct professor at National University and Southwestern College, where she teaches effective communication and business management courses. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication from San Diego State University.
